How much does a garden design cost? This is often a question you will want an answer to when considering a project. I really wish there was a short concise answer to give! No two projects are the same in scope, size or even duration but a common factor is the design phase often reflects around 8-10% of the the overall cost. Therefore the designer’s input is relative to the scale of the works.

A simple consultation, survey and concept plan for a small plot of 100-150 square meters will typically cost around £500. A planting plan and schedule for two or three new boarders could be around £400-£500.

A complex refurbishment project on a larger garden, involving multiple concept plans start from £750. If and when final plans, specification, construction details, planting plans etc are also required a fee proposal can be provided for your project

To give a more accurate fee proposal we can meet in the garden, discuss the details and carry out a basic survey for £45-£90 with no obligation to continue beyond this stage.
